It is my pleasure to announce my choice to join Adams, Cameron & Co, Realtors firm. Although I am new to Ponce Inlet, I am not new to Florida or Real Estate. I was born in Decatur, Georgia and my family relocated to Florida when I was 5. I grew up, went to school, had a career and raised my family in Lakeland, Florida. Graduated from Lake Gibson Senior High and attended college at Florida State University. Started my career in the title insurance field formally in 1983. In 1987 I had the opportunity to become the President and General Manager of a local branch of a national title insurance company (1987-2000), During this time we grew from 4 employees to 18, we were number 1 in market share in out county and we became one of the leaders in our region within the company. During my title insurance career I was able to experience every position... from the front desk to the back desk. I facilitated hundreds, if not thousands of closings. Each one was a special time, watching the new homeowners obtain their part of the American dream and watching the sellers move on to their next dream. I never lost sight of the fact that each one was special and deserved the time, consideration and expertise, as if it was my own personal transaction. I also conducted many training seminars, for internal and external customers, many focus groups with our local Realtors and was also the first in our region to create an Affiliated Business Arrangement with the leading Real Estate Company in the Lakeland area. During this time I was also very active with the Builders Association, where I served on the Board of Directors for several years and also received their Associate of the year award in 1997. From 1998-2000 I served as a member of the Florida Bar Associations grievance committee.

In 2001 I left the title business and joined our family owned furniture business. ( 2001-2006). It was during this time that I was able to be a part of another joyous occasion in most families lives. They had just bought a home, were redecorating a home or sending a child to college that needed to furnish an apartment. I learned to listen to the customers stories and "hear" what it was they were really looking for. This experience gave me a keen opportunity to match "need/want" with the perfect product.

In 2006, I re-entered the title world as a closing agent. Amazed at how much had changed from 2000. The technology had progressed beyond my imagination. Where as when I left in 2000...we were excited about Federal Express, fax machines and dos based we were receiving closing packages via email in seconds, windows based software, communicating with multiple clients at the same time via email and the internet. Wow! How quickly we could get things done!

In November of 2010 I relocated to Volusia county to join my fiancee'. Although I am a new resident to the area, I am very familiar with Volusia County. As a child we made several trips to the area, as a teenager we made even more trips, and then of course as I became the adult I brought my family to vacation here many, many times. I decided to enter the Real Estate sales arena as the natural progression of my field. I have always enjoyed real estate, it is like a puzzle. Putting all of the pieces together is very exciting. I bring to the table the knowledge of the title of real property, the experience of how the figures comes together, obstacles that can occur at the last minute, therefore try prepare so to avoid the last minute surprises at the closing. Also having the years of experience in the furniture field has enabled me to become a really good listener and help find the perfect match for my clients needs and wants.

I have two daughters that have grown into exceptional young ladies. I have a handsome 2 year old grandson that was born on Valentines day! What a special gift being a grandparent is! I love anything outdoors. Boating, beach, horseback riding, motorcycle riding, snow skiing are just a few of my hobbies.

I love life and all the challenges it puts before us. I see the glass as half full and will always work as hard as I need to help my clients reach their American Dream! Therefore, when it becomes time that you need the services of a Real Estate Agent, please allow me the opportunity to be your Realtor!
